Personnel Department
The Personnel Department, through God's help, seeks to find and place
committed Christians in positions within Western Indian Ministries. It is thus
the recruiting arm of the mission. The personnel staff also assists each
department with staff relations, maintains ministry descriptions, and promotes a
positive workplace environment.
Finance & Development Department
The Finance & Development Department is the financial arm of the mission. It
seeks funds through fund raising activities (known as "development"), and provides accounting services
for all departments of the mission. An important aspect is integrity in handling
donations, making sure each gift is properly receipted and the funds are
disseminated for the proper ministry use.
The Board of Directors annually contracts with an independent auditing firm
to have the financial statements reviewed or audited yearly. A copy of the most recent
audit is available upon request.
Buildings & Grounds Department
The Lord has blessed Western Indian Ministries with a 90-acre campus just
east of the Arizona-New Mexico state line, a mile from the capital of the
Navajo Nation. In addition, we have outstations in Houck and Pine Springs,
Arizona, and a radio station in Tuba City, Arizona.
The Buildings & Grounds Department of Western Indian Ministries was set up so
that we could be good stewards of what God has given us, to take care of the
grounds and the facilities in all these locations. Staff skills include
carpentry, auto mechanics, welding, heavy machinery operation, landscaping, and
general maintenance.
