| The mission of the Tribal Government is "to come together to do things for the benefit of all" and "to help one another (or give aid) in times of need." |
| The Tribal Government is organized into three branches: Executive, Legislative, and Judicial. |
| Most tribal members recognize the Hopi Tribal Council as their representative legislative body, but still maintain traditional village autonomy to a greater or lesser extent. |
