MERRY CHRISTMAS Hilltop Christian School Holiday Newsletter December 17, 2009 The birth of our Lord Jesus Christ is a special occasion to remember His birth, His life, His death on the cross, His payment for our sins, His resurrection, and His provision of salvation to all who believe in Him. Thank you to our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ! Dear Hilltop Christian School Families and Staff, I wanted to wish each of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I hope that the coming holidays are a real blessing to you and your family! I really appreciated the work that the students did for the various Christmas programs: Thank you! I hope that each of you enjoyed the programs as much as I did. Thanks to each class, their teachers, and to Ms. Shroyer for all of their hard work! This is just to let you know about the schedule for the Christmas break, and for coming events in early January. Christmas break is from December 21 through December 31, 2010. Classes will resume on Monday January 4th, 2010. Report cards for the 2nd quarter will be coming out the first week in January after the students come back to school. There will be no school on January 18, 2010 in recognition of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Just a couple of fundraiser reminders: the Lowes receipt project ends in March, the Box Tops and Soup Labels are year round. Also, some tuition reminders: Tuition is due the 20th of each month, if the 20th falls on a Saturday, then the date is the 19th, if the 20th falls on a Sunday, then the date is the 21st. Thank you. Please remember to listen for school closings on channel 7, KOAT out of Albuquerque; and added to our list, channel 15 KNXV out of Phoenix, AZ; plus radio stations KHAC 880 and KTNN 660. And listen to what happens with the Window Rock School District #8. I will also put a message on the school phone 505 371-5726 if there is a school closing. Again, have a great Christmas Break!
